A: Don't worry dear if the doctor is monitoring it closely then there is nothing to worry. Polyhydramnios is the medical term for having too much of amniotic fluid in the womb. It can be due to various reasons such as gestational diabetes, multiple pregnancies etc. Women with this condition may experience premature contractions, longer labor, difficulties breathing and other problems during delivery. It can also create problems for the baby such as malposition etc. If the doctor feels its required then he may treat the condition by removing excess amniotic fluid by doing a procedure or sometimes medication. Either ways I'm sure your doctor must be monitoring you closely so don't worry. ... See more

A: Get yourself tested for glucose tolerance test if your Dr has not prescribed yet. If she has done so, follow the medications n instructions of the dr. Take cmplt bed rest. It helps reducing the fluid leakage if u r having so. Avoid sugar n rich carbs. Increase water intake. Take care. ... See more
