@swati1088 Pranayam is known to be the best breathing exercise for pregnant woman as we get close to delivery time, shortness of breath and breathing issues are considered common symptoms.. Don't worry dear a sinusitis infection is although quite troublesome for you, it won't do any harm to your baby. But I hope you are taking enough vitamins and supplements and eating a healthy diet to recover soon. You can put two three drops of eucalyptus oil on a hankey and sniff it to clear the air passage, otherwise you can also add it to a bowl of hot water and take steam covering your head with a towel. Acupuncture is also another option. Homeopathy is also there. But make sure to go to a registered homeopathic doctor and tell him that your are pregnant so that he can treat you accordingly. Any medication should only be taken after consulting a doctor. At home you can try warm compression around your eyes and nose. Drink adequate amount of water to keep you hydrated and avoid tea or coffee as it could dehydrate you. Include onion, garlic and carrots in your diet. Garlic has antibiotic properties that can help relieve sinusitis. Consuming juices of carrots, spinach, cucumber and beetroot are also good remedies. You can even have lemon juice squeezed in water. Boiling fenugreek seeds in water and drinking it 3-4 times a day. Putting saline water solution like naso clear can also help in unclogging the nostrils and providing relief. But if nothing seems to be helping then its better to seek a doctor's advice.
