Dear usually the hair goes away on its own a few month after birth. But a few home remedies that you can try are making a dough out of atta, turmeric and water. Before rubbing the dough on the baby's skin dip it in warm almond oil and rub it on all the parts where you want to lessen the hair. You can also apply a mixture of turmeric and milk on the baby's skin after a massage and let it dry. Remove it using a soft cloth dipped in milk. You can then give the baby a bath but without using soap as milk acts as a cleansing agent. You can also make ubtan made out of gram flour, milk/yoghurt and a pinch of turmeric. This helps in removing excess hair as well as acts as a moisturiser. Making a paste out of almonds, yellow mustard and turmeric and applying is it also a good way. Just be careful if you are using raw milk as it may carry pathogens which may cause diarrhoea in newborns. Be gentle while massaging as the skin is very delicate. At times they may not permanently remove hair and if the hair grows thicker and darker as the baby grows then consult your pediatrician although this is rarely the case.
