Eating muskmelon during pregnancy is not only delicious and refreshing but also provides nutrients that help with the constant changes in pregnant women's bodies.

There are many important vitamins and minerals in muskmelons. It has a lot of minerals and vitamins, like iron, calcium, and phosphorous. Carotenoids in muskmelons act as antioxidants and stop free radicals from being made in the body. This helps a lot with making new cells, protecting from harmful infections and also makes the expecting mother and baby's immune systems stronger.

4. Supports Digestion

During the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, heartburn and indigestion is a normal problem for women who are expecting. In this case, muskmelon is one food that can help settle your stomach. The vitamin C in muskmelon helps your body digest and take in food.

When a woman is pregnant, anaemia can be risky for both her and the baby. Anemia during pregnancy can be kept in check by eating muskmelon, which has a lot of vitamin C and iron.
