Thus, a postpartum diet plan for weight loss should consist of yoghurt, cheese and low-fat milk, as they are calcium-rich. Superfoods like trout and salmon fish included in a postpartum weight loss diet can help the new moms shed sufficient weight.

A new mom’s diet plan for postpartum weight loss should also include high-fibre foods, like Dalia, brown rice, whole wheat and oats, that slow down digestion and reduce hunger pangs.
