The difference between PCOD & PCOS - PCOD is a common disorder on the other hand PCOS is a serious medical condition. PCOD is a condition in which ovaries produce many immature or partially mature eggs, this happen due to poor lifestyle, obesity, stress and hormonal imbalance PCOS it is a disorder and a more severe form of PCOD can lead to anovulation where ovaries stop releasing eggs. PCOD doesn’t have any serious complications and PCOS has serious complications such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and even endometrial cancer. In both cases, PCOD & PCOS weight loss, a healthy diet, avoiding junk foods, and processed foods, and regular exercise can show effective results. If you have skipped or irregular periods, acne, or hair growth on your back or face consult a gynaecologist and get yourself checked.
