My due date is nov 12th, but for past few days i was having sharp vaginal pain plus little white discharge everyday.so got myself checked up and i got to know from my doctor that my cervix is already opened upto 45% and that I can go to labour anytime. But to stop that she gave me injections to delay my delivery..now pain isn't there and discharge also stopped..but i am really scared of preterm delivery. Is anyone else suffering from same issue?

Yes it's common after 30 weeks of pregnancy

Dont worry dear sirf ek se do hafte or nikalne h fir preturm baby nhi kha jayega infact after completing 8month 9month m delivery kbhi ho jati h so relaxed sirf aram kre jyada na soche

Dear did it last for a second long and vanishes. This shooting pain occurs for me for the past 2 days. I thought it was normal. My due date is nov 11

How did you find out your cervix was open ? Did you do any scan ?

@Aarthi65 my doctor checked through my vagina...and then she told me this.usually doctors examine the dilation like that as an initial step..but she also asked to get a scan done but not immediately..
