FollowA: cottonsed oil is considered unhealthy during pregnancy because it is too high in saturated fat and too low in monounsaturated fat. cottonseed oil may contain natural toxins and high levels of pesticide residues. As cholesterol levels during pregnancy are already high due to the increase in hormone production, eating products that contain cottonseed oil can raise cholesterol to unhealthy levels, also known as hypercholesterolaemia.So its better to avoid Cotton seed oil during pregnancy. It leads to male infertility as well pregnancy problems, including early embryo development.
