Q: Hi all, yesterday I had anomaly scan, mine is DCDA twin pregnancy conceived through IVF. Everything was fine except one baby had enlarged stomach. That scanning doctor told us that enlarged stomach might be due to intestinal obstruction. But liquor is normal in amount. Now they r advising for amniocentesis to ruleout down syndrome. Because in such cases down syndrome is common itseems. But my NT scan and quadruple marker were normal. I am 31yrs old. We r thinking to take second opinion from other doctors and rescan after 1week. Because we r scared of miscarriage after amniocentesis procedure. If anybody had same situation please guide me. I am really scared now.
