47 followers. FollowA: Epidural reduce around 60-70% pain during contractions. Doctors give 2 injections in spinal cord. It's a kind of anesthesia that don't affect your pushing capabilities. 1 drawback is sometimes it takes more time to deliver baby than with normal pain.
