Q: My due date was 30th October, the c-section was scheduled for 22nd of October but my baby girl decided to show up early on 19th October. My water broke at 1 am, we reached the hospital at 1:30 am. Our bags were packed already. Got severe contractions till 10:30 am. I just followed my doctor's instructions and after pushing for so long, from 6:30 am to 10:30 am, finally the girl cried at 10:32 am IST. Nobody ever thought that I, a 100 kg final weight woman with 40 BMI, would be able to give birth vaginally, not even me but my doctor, Mrs. Asha Jain (SMSA Hospital, Raipur) was more confident than me. She encouraged me by saying: YOU'RE DOING GREAT AND I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT. I was begging all night for a c-section as being a FTM I was hell scared of Vaginal birth. But ultimately, we did it. My baby's birth was a true teamwork. I pushed and they got her out via vacuum extractor. Got 2nd degree tears but ultimately it was all worth it. I conceived at 88 kg and the final weight was 101 kg. It is our first baby and she is super healthy and weighs 3.5 kgs.
