94 Week Old Baby: Your Baby's Development and Your Recovery This Week
Your baby is 94 weeks old (22 months). Your toddler is stronger, cleaner at meals, and telling you more about what's going on in their head. For you, around 22.5 months. Your intellectual life, possibly on hold for almost two years, is worth reviving. Here is your week, tracked.
Week 94
Your baby is 22 months old
Baby says this week
I love to amuse other people by making funny faces. I know how to gain affection and that's why I'll offer my toy/cookie to a friend or a sibling. Sometimes I still feel anxious when you are not around me Mummy. I have my tastes and preferences for edible items, clothes, and fun activities. Don't I look adorable when I walk on my toes, Mummy? I love to play with other children in the park in the evening.
Your Toddler's Development
2 min read
Your toddler is stronger, cleaner at meals, and telling you more about what's going on in their head.
At around 23–24 months, arm and leg muscles are properly stronger. Your toddler can bend and pick up objects without toppling, drink from a cup with less spill, and mop up some food on their own. They may copy you with surprising detail, the way you sigh at your phone, the way you hold the kettle.
Language milestones this month- Putting 2–3 words together ("me want water", "baby go bye")
- Using pronouns (me, you, mine) even if swapped around for a while
- Naming needs: hungry, thirsty, potty
- Asking simple questions ("what dat?")
If your toddler has under 20 words by 2 years, or isn't combining any words, mention it to the pediatrician. Early language support works.
Things that sometimes help- Real conversation beats narrating. Ask questions, wait for a reply, even if the reply is a grunt. Respond as if they had said the full sentence.
- Books with simple stories and repeating lines ("brown bear, brown bear, what do you see?"). Repetition is how it sticks.
- Less background TV. Even if your toddler isn't watching, the TV noise gets in the way of the back-and-forth chat that builds language.
- If your toddler refuses food and water for more than a day, has blood in their stool, or has no bowel movement for 3+ days with hard pellets, call your pediatrician.
Every half-sentence and muddled pronoun is your little one reaching for you with words. These small victories are 22 month old baby milestones on paper, but in your home they are conversations beginning. One day soon they will tell you a whole story, and you will remember the week it all started.
Your Health & Lifestyle
2 min read
Around 22.5 months. Your intellectual life, possibly on hold for almost two years, is worth reviving.
Why it matters
- The "mum brain" trope, forgetting words, dropping things, foggy thinking, is real but usually temporary. Sleep, nutrition, and active engagement bring your mind back. Letting it stagnate keeps it foggy.
Small ways to reactivate
- A book a month, even short ones
- A podcast on a topic you care about
- An online course (free options on Coursera, edX, Udemy)
- A skill you've wanted to pick up
- A regular conversation with a thoughtful friend
Indian-context options
- Audible has many Indian non-fiction and fiction audiobooks
- Regional-language podcasts have grown enormously
- FOGSI, A trained therapist or specialist clinic can help. If you've found it harder to focus, talk to your manager about a phased return or let yourself ramp up over weeks, not days.
Eating well
- Three meals + two snacks. Brain food: omega-3s (walnuts, flaxseed, fatty fish if you eat them), B vitamins (eggs, leafy greens), and steady blood sugar.
Worth flagging
- If brain fog has been getting worse, not better, over 18+ months, a thyroid + B12 panel is worth doing. Both very treatable, both common in Indian women, both cause persistent foggy thinking when low.
Indian-context intellectual life
- Spiritual or philosophical reading, Gita, Upanishads, regional poetry, Buddhist texts, Sufi writings, has been a part of Indian intellectual life for centuries and offers a different kind of brain rest than news or social media. Whatever fits your inclination is worth exploring.
Reviving your own mind is not a luxury; it is mother self care in one of its truest forms. The woman who loved ideas before the lullabies and laundry is still in there, waiting for ten quiet minutes. Give her a page, a podcast, a thought of her own; she has earned it.
Essentials for Your Journey

By week 94, the bedtime warm-doodh-and-story routine is settled. A BPA-free 2-in-1 bottle with anti-colic nipple is gentle on still-teething gums and easy for toddler hands to hold. Steriliser-safe: important during winter cold-and-flu season. Try Mylo 2-in-1 Baby Feeding Bottle that:
- BPA-Free, Anti-Colic Nipple.
- Gentle On Teething Gums.
- Steriliser-Safe Daily Use.
As the warm-doodh ritual winds down each night, take a slow breath of your own. The house grows quiet, the day's work settles, and that hush belongs to you too. Let bedtime close gently for both of you.

Week 94: hair routine is settled and the regrowth is steady. An onion-based conditioner with bhringraj-amla keeps the new hair soft and the ends from splitting. Sulphate-free, silicone-free, safe for color-treated hair too. Try Mylo Onion Hair Conditioner that:
- Onion-Bhringraj-Amla Blend.
- Sulphate & Silicone Free.
- Safe for Color-Treated Hair.
Settled: such a small word for what your hair, and you, have come through. Wash days that once felt like loss now feel like simple care, and that shift is worth quietly celebrating. Softness, in every sense, suits this chapter of your journey.
